Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance Contract:
AdaRose and US Army engineers
were able to successfully troubleshoot an elusive but serious problem in the fielded
Paladin Artillery system, related to navigation malfunctions. AdaRose's intimate
knowledge of the Army's Artillery Fire Control system hardware and software proved
invaluable in successfully diagnosing the root cause of this problem.
Investigation Details:
Honeywell's Inertial Measurement Units were being returned from the field for
being faulty. However, they bench-checked "OK" and were being returned
to the field. AdaRose produced an Investigation Plan and developed specialized
debugging software. Army engineers used this software along with diagnostic
equipment to isolate the problem to a hardware component other than the Honeywell
Unit. AdaRose engineers are well known for their ability to solve some of the
toughest engineering problems.
